It’ s not uncommon for this dealership to sell lifted trucks (this is the flagship store of the father of the man who owns and runs the Land Cruiser museum) , I would say about 1 of every 10 new Tacoma/4Runner/Tundra sold here is lifted. Most of them are, sadly, cheap spacer lifts to look cool to idiots...despite the fact that spacer lifts up front are illegal in Utah. This one though, done right.
285/70R17 Dutatracs
Wheels with the necessary offset, proper UCA’s and an proper OME coil and leaf pack lift with new shocks. This is exactly how you’d built a 3rd gen Tacoma for a cost effective 33" tire setup.

Oh that’s nice. What kind of wheels are those?

I like

I honestly don’t know. I should look into it because I like them and they are the same bolt pattern and offset I would need for my Land Cruiser.

looks nice right?

Nice, but you would miss out on all the fun of choosing your own stuff. Plus you wouldn’t get to read through 100 posts on TW arguing whether uniball is better than balljoint or who make the best..

This reminded me of a car lot in Indiana which always seems to have a suspicious number of non-Rubicon Jeeps with Rubicon stickers. Almost as if they like to add it themselves (but stay legal by not actually claiming they are Rubicons).
1975 Rubicon Wrangler! How rare is that!

Seriously...freakin mitch.

ha! probably. its just a TRD off-road though so my guess is low 40's. Still, cheaper than a gladiator is going to be by a long way,

I helped my buddy install this same lift a few weeks ago and I will never again assemble coil overs without a press. The cheap AutoZone compressor was the worst.

I’ve used that compressor before, granted it was for a subaru spring so no real worried there. T he OME springs for this truck must have been 3x the rate of those. NO THANK YOU.

Meaty... Estimated cost of all of these mods?
(just in my dreams, of course, as any lift is out for me for the foreseeable future)

wheels and tires are probably in the 2200 range, lift is probably 900, ucas another 400

Very cost effective.

given that this will shame any other truck built for clearance and angles.. i think so. a Tacoma on 33s will not scrape anywhere a gladiator on 37s would.

Looking forward to the day that I’m no longer height-restricted.
My wife and kids already struggle a bit to get in my truck now - ha!
